Privacy policy — SERAS

Overview

SERAS is an offline-first Android colouring and drawing app for children aged 4–8, published under the VKOO Studios brand. It has no account, ads or dedicated analytics. Child profiles and creations are handled locally. Google Play services, Android backup or sharing, voluntary support email and visits to this website are separate situations explained below. This policy describes the app; the website has its own privacy notice.

Local profiles and creations

A parent or child can create local profiles containing a name, age group and avatar. The app stores colouring progress, drawings, saved gallery work and settings on the device. These details are not entered into a VKOO account; there is no account or developer-operated sync service. The on-device database uses Android app storage and its normal app access controls; protect the device and its backup account. We do not claim a special encryption certification.

Connections and Google services

SERAS's own app code does not send children's profiles, artwork, gallery content or colouring progress to VKOO Studios. Its creative features work offline, and SERAS has no developer-operated account or sync service.

SERAS includes Google Play Billing for the optional lifetime unlock. Normal child-only use does not initialize Billing unless follow-up is owed for an earlier unfinished purchase or acknowledgement. Billing may connect when a parent enters the lifetime-unlock flow to retrieve the real Google Play price, initiates a purchase, or requests Restore. Google's Billing components may then send technical diagnostics, including Billing operation results and device or app details, to Google to operate and improve the billing service. Follow-up communication may also occur while a previously initiated payment or acknowledgement remains unfinished.

These technical diagnostics are handled by Google's Billing components, not by a VKOO Studios analytics service. They do not contain children's profiles, drawings or colouring progress. Google's handling of its services is governed by its own applicable policies.

Optional purchase

The free app offers an optional, one-time lifetime unlock through Google Play Billing in an adult-gated Parent Area. Google Play handles payment and may process purchase and account information under Google's policies. SERAS receives purchase state needed to grant or restore access. Its local entitlement record contains unlock status, product ID, purchase time, last verification time, acknowledgement and source; the handoff reports no stored purchase token, order ID or account identifier. Purchase availability and price depend on Google Play. No subscription is offered.

Device backup and transfer

Android backup is enabled for the release. Depending on device and account settings, Android or the device provider may back up or transfer app data, including local data. SERAS does not operate the backup service or access copies held in your personal backup account or transferred to another device. Backup availability and scope depend on the app's backup configuration and your device and account settings. Review your device's backup settings and the provider's privacy information.

Sharing and export

A user may choose to share or export a drawing through Android's system tools. The chosen receiving app or service then handles the shared file under its own terms. SERAS does not automatically post a child's drawing publicly.

Support contact

If a parent emails support@vkoo-studios.com, we receive the email address, message and anything voluntarily attached. Please avoid sending a child's name or artwork unless needed. We use the message to respond and handle the request; email providers may process it. No fixed retention period has been established. A parent may ask us to delete support correspondence, subject to applicable obligations, using the same address.

Children and permissions

SERAS is designed for ages 4–8. It has no login, third-party ads, ad SDK, dedicated analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the reported release. Purchases require an adult check. The release requests Play Billing, internet and network-state permissions; it does not request camera, microphone, precise location, contacts or storage permission. An included Google dependency does not by itself mean the app requests location permission.

Storage, deletion and limits

You can remove local app data through Android's app storage controls or by uninstalling SERAS; this removes the current device's copy, subject to device behavior. It does not necessarily erase Android backups, another device's transferred copy, Google Play purchase records, or emails sent to support. Manage backups with the device or account provider. A Play purchase may be restored using Google Play's purchase tools. There is no SERAS account to delete. Drawings already exported to the device photo gallery are separate files and may remain after uninstalling; delete them there if desired.

Your choices and questions

A parent can review device backup and sharing choices, manage Google Play purchase information through Google, and contact us about support messages or privacy questions at support@vkoo-studios.com. Rights may depend on applicable law and circumstances; write to us to make a request. This policy does not replace Google's or your device provider's notices.

Changes and date

Effective and last updated: 24 September 2026. If app practices materially change, we will update this page and its date before or when the change takes effect, and use an appropriate in-app notice where needed. The English version is the master for review; translations are provided for accessibility.
